Myself and a few others will attend the open meeting tomorrow night (7:00PM at the Georgetown Seniors Centre, 318 Guelph Street, Georgetown (behind the ‘Indoor Mall’) to lend support to this campaign and to make sure that Bell does not use residential internet access avaialability as a positive in their favour. Please come out if you’re able to.
Please visit the website of Open Media. They are, in their own words, a grassroots organization that safeguards the possibilities of the open and affordable Internet. We work towards informed & participatory digital policy.
Their campaign ‘Stop the Meter’ has been running for a year and a half. We are still able to sign the petition so please go and do so.
